A Holistic Approach to Physical Health

Physical wellbeing is intrinsically linked to mental health and social confidence. Our Physical Wellbeing Activities are designed to be inclusive, encouraging, and medically sound. We recognize that “fitness” looks different for everyone. Whether your goal is to improve your cardiovascular health, increase your range of motion, or simply find a way to move that doesn’t cause pain, we are here to facilitate that journey.

Tailored Activity Plans

We coordinate with your allied health team—such as Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists—to implement physical programs that are safe and effective. Our services include:

  • Adaptive Sports: Finding local teams for wheelchair basketball, bowling, or swimming.

  • Supported Gym Sessions: Providing a support worker to assist you with equipment use and technique at a local fitness center.

  • Nutritional Coaching: Working with dietitians to ensure your physical activity is fueled by the right nutrition.

The Mental Health Connection

Regular physical activity is proven to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. By participating in these activities, you aren’t just strengthening your muscles; you are clearing your mind and building the stamina needed to engage more fully in all other areas of your NDIS plan.
